OJJDP, in collaboration with the Federal Trade Commission, presented “Financial Literacy for Teens.” This webinar focused on teen financial independence. The webinar examined the importance of a credit report and discusses how to order, review, and correct them. Presenters also discuss free resources to help teens prepare to get credit and avoid pitfalls when applying for student loans, buying a car, renting an apartment, or making other financial decisions. Identity theft is a concern to foster youth and will be covered in this webinar.

Watch the entire 35th Annual National Missing Children's Day Ceremony which took place on May 23, 2018 in Washington, DC. The 2018 ceremony honored the heroic and exemplary efforts of agencies, organizations, and individuals to protect children. OJJDP Administrator Caren Harp provided opening remarks.

In this webinar, OJJDP, in collaboration with the Police Foundation, provided an overview of the database that the Police Foundation has developed and uses to share information on both averted and completed acts of school violence. Presenters will also discuss training in schools to identify behavior that can lead to violence.

OJJDP, in collaboration with The Innocent Justice Foundation, presents "Maintaining Your Balance – Resiliency Action Plan." This webinar was designed to help law enforcement professionals and their families and friends develop a resiliency action plan for both work and life to help them succeed.

The Innocent Justice Foundation provides wellness and resiliency programs to support law enforcement and other juvenile justice professionals who are exposed to vicarious trauma due to their work regarding commercial sexual exploitation of children and violence and abuse against children.
