Making a Difference: On the Front Lines With "We know what works. What we need is the commitment and will to do it. Youth Gang Drug Trafficking and Homicide: Viewed more often through the lens of public perception than that of scientific knowledge, the relationship between youth gang drug trafficking and homicide is poorly understood. This article examines whether drug trafficking is a leading cause of gang-related homicide and whether gang migration is a key factor in gang drug trafficking. It also describes promising programs.
