In response to the field’s growing need for a juvenile-focused training for facility directors/superintendent, the Council of Juvenile Justice Administrators (CJJA), in partnership with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), is pleased to provide a training program for facility leadership overseeing facility operations. The training program will be a 6-month TTA/webinar series. Upon successful completion the training program, attendees will receive a certificate of completion.

The TTA subjects include: Best Practices and Evidence-Based Approaches in Detention and Commitment; Strategies to Reduce Racial/Ethnic Disparities in Facilities; Applied Leadership and Managing for Results; Workforce Strategies to Recruit and Sustain High-Performance; Positive Youth Development Approaches to Improve Short and Long-term Outcomes; Maintaining Safety and Emergency Preparedness; and Opportunities for Networking, Team Building and Jurisdictional Planning.
