The Youth Internet Safety Survey found that 19 percent of the young Internet users surveyed had received an unwanted sexual solicitation online in the past year, and 25 percent had been exposed to sexual material online without seeking or expecting it. Conducted by the Crimes against Children Research Center at the University of New Hampshire, the survey was commissioned by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and supported by OJJDP. Study findings are documented in Online Victimization: A Report on the Nation's Youth.

Child Pornography: Patterns From NIBRS, a Bulletin in OJJDP's Crimes Against Children Series, analyzes data from the FBI's National Incident-Based Reporting System on pornography crimes involving children and discusses the availability of data on computer involvement in such crimes.

Visit OJJDP's Statistical Briefing Book for comprehensive statistical information on juvenile victimization and other topics.

Editors Note: the Youth Gang videoconference has been postponed as announced in JUVJUST.
